The Dave Chisolm Band (DCB) is a Central Ohio based band featuring high energy blues, and R&B covers and original tunes. The DCB features Dave Chisolm on guitar and vocals, Rev. Willie Stockton on bass, and D'Arco Smith on drums. The DCB took first place in the first annual Deleware Original Blues Challenge held on September 4, 2004. On October 29, 2000, the DCB won first place in the first annual Columbus Blues Alliance "Blues Challenge." In February 2001, the band was honored to represent Central Ohio at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis sponsored by the Blues Foundation. The DCB also won 2nd runner-up position in the third annual Columbus Blues Alliance "Blues Challenge," held on November 2, 2002, and again in the fifth annual competition held on October 24, 2004. This band is known for it's no-holds-barred, take no prisoners approach to everything from Gulf Coast Ballads to Chicago-style shuffles and swings and everything in between.
